Remembrance Day at WLPS

On Friday 11th November the children and staff of Woodham Ley remembered those who lost their lives in wars.

Remembrance Day was marked at Woodham Ley with a special assembly which included a 2 minute silence at 11am. During the assembly we considered how many millions of people lost their lives in World Wars One & Two. Also, every child in the school has written a message of remembrance on a poppy which has been displayed at the front of the school. Please take a moment to read some of these messages.
