Safeguarding

At Woodham Ley Primary School, we are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all our pupils. We have thorough procedures in place to ensure the safety and welfare of all our pupils and staff. All our pupils know that they are valued and that any concerns they have will be taken seriously and addressed by the adults who care for them. All staff members and governors receive appropriate child protection training which is regularly updated and in line with advice from the Essex Safeguarding Children Board (ESCB).

If you have any Safeguarding concerns, you can contact the DSL or DDSL on admin@woodhamley.essex.sch.uk and mark the email FAO: DSL URGENT Safeguarding or call the school office on 01268 753652 between 8.30am and 4pm.

Outside of these ours please contact children's social care on 0345 603 7627. This phone line is open Monday to Thursday 8:45 am to 5pm, and Fridays 8:45am to 4:15pm. For out of hours or bank holidays, call the emergency duty team on 0345 606 1212.

If a child or young person is in immediate danger, call the Police on 999.
