AS A SCHOOL, WE WILL:
Encourage and support your child to do their best at all times.
Encourage and support your child to take care of their surroundings and others around them.
Inform parents of the children’s progress at regular meetings.
Contact parents if there is a problem with attendance, punctuality, school uniform, behaviour or attitude towards learning.
Contact parents if there are concerns or problems that affect their child’s work.
Inform parents about any concerns regarding your child’s physical and/or emotional wellbeing.
Ensure your child has the Right to Learn, the Right to Respect and the Right to Safety.
AS A FAMILY, WE WILL:
Ensure our child arrives at school on time ready to begin work. (8.35-8.45)
Ensure our child has a Good attendance rate. 96% or above.
Contact the school promptly (on the day) if our child is absent.
Attend Parent Consultation Evenings to discuss our child’s progress.
Let the school know about any concerns or problems that might affect our child’s work or behaviour.
Support the school’s policies on uniform, behaviour, homework, attendance and Reading.
Be helpful, polite, respectful and pleasant in manner towards school staff, children and other parents/carers especially on the school site and follow the school’s 3 Rights.
Inform the school about any concerns regarding our child’s physical or emotional well-being.
AS A PUPIL OF THIS SCHOOL, I WILL:
Follow the school’s 3 Rights – the Right to learn, the Right to Respect, the Right to Safety.
Be kind and caring to everyone.
Be an active and independent learner.
Listen and try my hardest to do my best at all times.
Follow instructions carefully.
Keep trying, even if I find things challenging.
Ask questions about my learning.
CYBER BULLYING
As a school community (school staff, parents/carers and pupils) we will not use social networking sites (Facebook/Twitter etc) for the purpose of making defamatory comments about staff, pupils and parents.
